This tour includes riding 60 minutes of the best trails through the beautiful Eldorado Canyons. We will capture your Awesome Adventure with FREE photos and videos while you enjoy riding our trails. Load up your friends and family and have an Awesome Adventure!

TOUR POLICY & Most Frequently Asked Questions

ALL Reservations must be confirmed and acknowledged 24 hours before your scheduled tour or same day bookings may still be booked up to 2 hours before scheduled tour by phone, text, or email to confirm you have received the location to meet your guide, the time, and if you are ordering lunch. The office will send text and email with this information.  You must respond that you have received it! 

  • All participants must complete a Participant Agreement/Acknowledgement of Risk Form before the tour.
  • A credit card must be called into Awesome Adventures before the scheduled tour, 702-257-8509 or 800-519-2243. The credit card holder is responsible for all incidentals and participants on tour. If the credit card holder does not want to be charged for other participants’ incidental damages to the equipment, then each participant needs a credit card called in before the tour.  Credit Card holders must be on tour and show the tour guide ID and Credit Card used to book the tour to ensure it is their card.
  • The tour guide will wait only 10 minutes at the scheduled tour time. If you are not on time, the guide will leave to continue the tour, and there is no refund. 
  • Whether damages are seen or not, an ATV rollover or tipped on the side is a minimum charge of $300.00 plus any additional damages
  • Damage to any RZR is a minimum charge of $600.00 for tire/rim and $3,500.00 if rolled on the side or tipped over, plus any additional damages.  A credit card will be charged for damages on file on the tour day.
  • Shoes – You must wear closed-toe shoes!  Sneakers or boots are recommended. No Crocs, Yeezy’s, high heels, slip-ons, flip-flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes! You MUST have completely closed-toe shoes to ride or drive for your safety! If you show up without wearing closed-toe shoes, you will not be able to ride, and no refund will be issued.
    • Clothing: We recommend wearing a Long-sleeved shirt and pants and dressing appropriately for the weather. Due to the desert terrain and cacti, we recommend NO shorts. You are in the desert and need to be aware of cacti, rocks, brushes, and rattlesnakes. We will do our best to keep you safe, but you are in the desert, so please dress accordingly.
    • Due to the terrain, the average speed is roughly 15 to 25 mph. Your guide is in charge of keeping everyone safe, and the speed is set at their discretion.  
    • No experience necessary; We Got Your Back!
    • Weight limit – Minimum is 42 lbs., max is 350 lbs. 
    • To participate in our guided tours, you must wear protective gear, including a helmet and seatbelt. We have helmet sizes from youth up to 5X. Participants who are unable to fasten their seatbelts or fit into the helmets will not be able to go on the tour. There will be no refund on the tour if you cannot participate. 
    • Hair must be flat to fit the helmet on.
    • Water is provided throughout your tour. Stay hydrated!
    • No Drinking alcohol or being intoxicated before or on tour!  No smoking marijuana and/or using illegal drugs before or during your tour is strictly prohibited!
    • Must be 18 years old to drive a 2-seater RZR
    • ATV Operators must be at least 16 years old and a parent or guardian on the entire tour.  The minimum age to ride in Rzr is 7 years old, and the weight is 42 lbs.
    • Under 18 must have a parent/guardian present throughout the tour.   
    • Any policy violation will result in immediate tour cancellation without a refund.
    • You must follow guided tour safety instructions or be asked to end your tour with no refund.
    • For safety reasons, we do not allow expectant mothers to ride an ATV or drive a 2-seater Razor due to the terrain, including bumps, rocks, fast turns, speed, dips, and ruts. These activities could risk the safety of the mother and unborn child.

Cancellation Policy

  • Reservations canceled less than 72 hours before the scheduled tour, same-day cancellations, or NO SHOWS will receive NO REFUND!
  • If you need to cancel a Reservation, Please Call us at 702-257-8509 to cancel.  
  • If, for some reason, WE (Awesome Adventures) must cancel your tour, you will receive a full refund. Our tours operate rain or shine, provided the roads are open. Any tour canceled by Awesome Adventures due to unsafe conditions will receive 100% refund.

   2 Types of Equipment to Choose from
A single-rider ATV (4 Wheeler, Quad) – Designed for the Best Desert Riding. Our 250 Honda TRX ATVs are single-rider 4-wheelers and are perfect for off-roading terrain in Las Vegas; they are easy to handle, fun to ride, and easy to control. They are automatic, so no shifting gears are required. You do not have to know how to ride. We got your back!
Or select our 2-seater RZR (Side by Side, UTV, Dune Buggy, Razor). Our Polaris 900 RZRs are built for thrilling off-road adventures. They drive like a car, offering the perfect balance of adrenaline and safety, complete with a full roll cage and seat belts. The RZR is priced per RZR. They have plenty of room for 2-people to enjoy the ride, and Halfway through the tour, we switch drivers so both have an opportunity to drive. Passengers can enjoy the ride and take photos of our fun desert trails, majestic landscape, and the thrills of your dune buggy tour!
   Age limit, Weight, Gear
  1. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory! – No Crocs, sandals, flip-flops, high heels, or slip-on. Boots can not have more than a 2" heel on them.
  2. Long pants and long sleeves are recommended due to the rugged desert terrain, cacti, and sun exposure. Weight limit: 45 to 350 lbs. Minimum height: 42 inches.
  3. ATV Riders must be 16+ and have a parent or guardian present on the tour.
  4. RZR Drivers must be 18+, and passengers must be at least 7 years old and 42 lbs.
  5. Protective gear is required – Helmets and seatbelts must be worn at all times. We provide helmet socks, helmets, gloves, and goggles. Helmets sizes range from youth small to adults 5X.
  6. Hair must be flat to ensure a proper helmet fit.
  7. No alcohol, marijuana, or drugs before or during the tour.
   Transportation
You can choose to drive yourself to our location, or we can pick you up at 4 Designated Hotels. Our tour takes place at 16880 HWY 165, Nelson, NV 89046, approximately 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. If you are self-driving, follow Google Maps carefully and be sure not to miss the turn-off at HWY 165. There is NO food, Gas stations, or Charging stations on-site, so please plan accordingly. The entire experience at the location lasts 2 to 2.5 hours.

If you are planning to take a Uber or Lift out to our location be aware it is normally a cost of $60-90 charge one way. It is cheaper to have us pick you up at the 4 designated Hotels. Plus you may have to wait hours before they can pick you back up.

For guests opting for hotel pickup, we provide transportation from Excalibur, Horseshoe, Resorts World, and Golden Nugget. Simply choose this option when booking, and we’ll take care of the rest. The entire experience at location lasts 2.5-6 hours, it depends on what tour you select, plus transport to and from the location is approx. 45 minutes one way.
   Food/Snacks
We only provide lunches for the Old West ATV/Rzr & Gold Mine Tour, Colorado Adrenaline Tour, and the Ultimate Tour; the lunches are included in your tour price. Your tasty lunch is made fresh that morning and you can choose from a Turkey, Ham, Chicken or Veggie sandwiches or Salads plus chips, cookies, and soda. Call the office 48 hours before your tour to order your lunches at 702-257-8509.

You may bring with you snacks or lunch to eat at our location on any of our tours. We provide you with water throughout your tour.
   What's the difference between the 5 Tours?
Our Awesome Adventures ATV/RZR Tour offers gear, safety instructions, choose either an ATV or 2-seater RZR for 60-min ride time, photos/videos and play some fun outdoor games.
Eldorado Canyon ATV/RZR Tour is 30-min longer than the Awesome Adventure Tour and it includes sightseeing in the 1861 Ghost Town with cool one-of-a-kind items to see, hear amazing history, and photos. Old West ATV/RZR & Gold Mine Tour includes Sightseeing in Ghost Town, ATV-Rzr ride time 75-90 min, lunch, photos/videos and play some fun outdoor games, then the WOW factor a 75-min Gold Mine Tour. Colorado Adrenaline RZR Tour start your tour with Sightseeing in Ghost Town, gear up and drive the 2-seater RZR on an epic ride 45 minutes to the Colorado River, have lunch with breathtaking views, then drive back, photos/videos and play some fun outdoor games.
The Ultimate RZR Tour is the big daddy that includes it all, Sightseeing, gear, Colorado River tour, Lunch, Games, photos/videos and playing some fun outdoor games, then the WOW factor a 75-min Gold Mine Tour.

Large group sizes are considered as a group of 18-120 guests.
